So what is the difference between the old matrix of traditional religions being the arbiter of salvation and so many ‘new age’ teachers and influencers that give a ‘taste’ of enlightenment so that you purchase their courses to get the details that they ‘didn’t have time to explain on UA-cam’…..? No, science will continue to save lives that prayers don’t. In 7th grade I was diagnosed with Type 1 insulin dependent juvenile diabetes. Fortunately, a hundred plus years ago, people got tired of praying for those with diabetes for the 1-2 months they were alive, only to see all of them die. Instead, they got off of their knees, unclasped their hands and began doing things with them by using science, eventuality developing the insulin that has kept me alive for 35 years now. There are thousands of examples like this where science has saved us and made our lives more livable. Meanwhile, religion, since its inception, has given us nothing positive or helpful to our daily lives, outside of the benefit some get for believing it, in a way akin to the joy small children get believing in Santa Clause.
